Test Your Wireless Networks with Confidence
Wireless Penetration Testing (Wi-Fi Pentest)

Wireless networks are among the most attractive entry points for cyber attackers due to guest access, mobile devices, and IoT equipment. At İnvekor, we test your Wi-Fi infrastructure end-to-end, identifying unauthorized access, weak encryption, and misconfigurations so you can take the necessary action.

Our Wireless Penetration Testing Approach

We test your corporate wireless networks using a methodology that includes discovery, analysis, attack simulation, and reporting. Without disrupting the user experience, we assess your guest, corporate, IoT, and production environments separately.

Discovery & Preliminary Analysis

We analyze your organization's wireless topology, access points, and coverage areas, defining the testing scope according to your business processes.

Existing SSID & VLAN Mapping Corporate & Guest Network Segmentation Analysis Risk-Based Test Scope Definition

Wireless Network Mapping & Topology

We analyze the signal strength, channel usage, and interference levels of your access points to identify areas that may pose security risks.

Access Point (AP) Inventory Signal Strength & Channel Analysis Rogue (Unauthorized) AP Detection

Authentication & Encryption Analysis

We perform brute-force, password policy, and configuration tests against your WPA2 / WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS, and portal-based authentication mechanisms.

Attack Simulations

Using techniques that real-world attackers may employ, we simulate unauthorized access, session hijacking, captive portal bypasses, and lateral movement scenarios.

Segmentation, Guest Network & IoT Controls

We test the separation between your guest, production, office, and IoT networks through VLANs, firewalls, and access control rules to identify lateral movement risks.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions About Wireless Penetration Testing

We have compiled the most frequently asked questions about the wireless penetration testing process, potential downtime, scope, and legal considerations.

How does the wireless penetration testing process work?
First, we define the scope and locations (head office, warehouse, stores, etc.). We then conduct discovery, active testing, and the necessary simulations within the internal network. Following the analysis of findings, we complete the process with a report covering technical details, business impact, and recommendations. If requested, we can also organize a report presentation and Q&A session.
Will there be any connection interruptions during testing, and will users be affected?
Tests are planned to minimize any impact on business continuity. In particular, phases involving intensive attack simulations are conducted outside business hours or during time windows agreed upon with you. For critical systems, any steps that may carry a risk of service disruption are always submitted for your approval in advance.
Is testing limited to offices, or can warehouses and stores also be included?
The testing scope can include all locations where wireless networks are used, including head offices, branches, stores, warehouses, and production sites. We particularly recommend designing separate scenarios for stores and showrooms where guest networks are heavily used.
Which standards and best practices do you follow when testing?
Our tests are conducted with reference to OWASP, PTES (Penetration Testing Execution Standard), and industry-independent best practices. We can also add additional controls based on GDPR, ISO 27001, and your specific audit requirements.
Can the reports be used in audits and board presentations?
Yes. We prepare a detailed technical report for your technical team and a concise executive summary for management. The executive summary includes risk levels, prioritized actions, and investment/improvement recommendations, making it suitable for direct use in audits, internal control processes, and board presentations.
How long does the testing take?
Depending on the number of locations and network complexity, a standard wireless penetration test typically includes 1–3 business days of on-site testing and 3–5 business days for report preparation. We create a clear timeline together with you at the beginning of the project.
Is only the wireless network tested, or is the internal network also included?
While the core scope focuses on the wireless network, we can expand the testing scope to include lateral movement scenarios within the internal network following unauthorized access. This allows you to better understand the actual business impact of a Wi-Fi vulnerability.
How often should these tests be repeated?
We recommend testing whenever new locations are opened, infrastructure changes are made, or major version upgrades are implemented. In addition, conducting a periodic wireless penetration test at least once a year is considered a good practice for managing both compliance requirements and real-world attack risks.

Let Us Test Your Wireless Networks Before Attackers Do

Guest networks, mobile employees, and IoT devices can introduce significant risks without a strong wireless security strategy. With wireless penetration testing, simulate real-world attack scenarios in a controlled environment, identify your weaknesses, and strengthen your networks with an actionable remediation plan.
